Stealth Bomber Crystalyte 5403 motor (#2). Axle was frozen and would not rotate. 5403 (#1) shown for comparison.

5403 motor #2 purchased as spare Jan 2012. 5403 #1 came with bike August 2011.

#2 Put on bike while I replaced the bearings in the original 5403 motor(#1). #1 reinstalled March 2012 and #2 stored since March 2012 till March 2013. Worked fine when stored. #2 checked March 2013 and motor shaft was frozen and would not rotate. Disassembly shows seizing due to rotor binding to stator magnets. There is extensive corrosion in #2 but not on axle and bearinigs.
